MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 26, 2011 /CNW/ - This summer, high-top sneakers, spandex tights and parachute pants aren't the only iconic 1980s items back from the past... Just in time for the celebrated Canadian summer BBQ season, the wildly popular Pepsi Throwback is back on store shelves for a limited time only!
"We hit on something big with Pepsi Throwback when we brought it to Canada in January," said Robb Hadley, Marketing Director Pepsi, PepsiCo Beverages Canada. "When we get that kind of passionate response to a beverage innovation, we listen! We invite cola lovers across Canada to make Pepsi Throwback part of their retro summer fun."
Pepsi Throwback features iconic retro graphics dating back to the 80s. The look is cool, classic and totally vintage. Sweetened with real sugar, Pepsi Throwback transports new and seasoned Pepsi drinkers to one of the most diverse eras of the last century.
Pepsi Throwback was first introduced to Canadians in January for eight weeks and it quickly won the hearts of new Pepsi drinkers and seasoned fans alike.
From May to July, the retro-style cola will be available across the nation in 355 mL cans, 12-pack cases and 591 mL bottles. It will be here for a limited time only, so fans will need to pick it up before it's all gone!
