Cara Keating is the CEO of PepsiCo Canada, overseeing both the Foods and Beverages divisions. PepsiCo Canada is the largest consumer packaged goods company in the country and is home to iconic food and beverage brands including Lay’s, Doritos, Quaker, Pepsi, bubly, and Gatorade. Cara leads a team of over 12,000 associates across the company’s 13 Canadian manufacturing facilities and 280 distribution locations.
Under her leadership, PepsiCo Canada is a key global anchor market and part of PepsiCo’s North America operations. She drives the strategy, innovation, and operational excellence to deliver sustainable growth and advance the company’s mission of creating a positive impact through sustainability and community initiatives.
A seasoned PepsiCo leader with 20 years of experience, she has progressively held senior positions across general management, customer development, and field leadership, earning a reputation for delivering results and fostering collaboration. Most recently, Cara served as Chief Customer Officer for PepsiCo Foods North America, where she led customer strategy for the nearly $26 billion snack and convenience foods business. Previously, she was President of PepsiCo Foods Canada, driving innovation and sustainability efforts while overseeing the Frito Lay Canada and Quaker Canada businesses. In 2021, Cara played a key role in the opening of PepsiCo Canada’s state-of-the-art Mississauga headquarters, uniting the Foods and Beverages teams under one roof to foster greater collaboration.
Cara is a talented people leader and a passionate advocate for inclusion. She was a former lead and executive sponsor of PepsiCo Canada’s Women’s Inclusion Network, earning the PepsiCo Global Harvey C. Russell Award for her contributions in advancing women’s development and inclusion. Her leadership has been recognized by Canadian Grocer magazine, naming her one of their Star Women in Grocery for her impact on business performance and workplace culture. Outside of PepsiCo, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP) and contributes to key industry committees shaping the sector’s future.
Cara holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
